POLICE LOOKING FOR SUSPECT IN ROBBERY
(10/13/2006) NEW HAVEN – Sergeant Kevin Costin and members of the NHPD’s Robbery/Burglary Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in their investigation of a robbery that occurred today at approximately 10:39 a.m. at the Citizen’s Bank branch located at 395 Whalley Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male approximately 30-35 years of age, 5’9” – 5’11” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a long white t-shirt and khaki pants with paint on them. He was also wearing a hard hat and a dust mask at the time of the robbery. After he left the bank, the suspect was last seen walking north on Norton Street towards Goffe Terrace.
